The Process

One bay. One car. Every panel checked twice.

Four stages, in this order, on every car. Ceramic and film share the same prep, because a coating is only as good as the paint underneath it.

Step 1 of 4

Decontamination

Clean to the surface, before anything else.

Paint that looks clean is rarely clean. Brake dust, road film and bonded contamination sit on the surface and a regular wash leaves them behind. Anything left there gets sealed under the coating or film, so this is where every job starts.

  • Full wash by hand
  • Clay bar pass over the paint to pull off what washing can't
  • Paint checked under light to decide what correction it needs

Why it mattersSealing over contamination locks it in for the life of the coating.

Correction

Level the paint before you lock it in.

Swirl marks and haze are microscopic scratches that scatter light and dull the finish. Machine polishing levels them out so the paint holds a clean reflection. A one-step correction is part of every ceramic tier. If your paint needs more than that, we tell you before any work starts.

  • Panels inspected under raking light
  • Machine polish, panel by panel
  • Surface wiped down so we can judge the true finish before moving on

Why it mattersA coating protects the paint exactly as it is. Correction decides how good that is.

Application

By hand, one panel at a time.

Ceramic and film are different jobs but get the same patience. Feynlab ceramic goes on every painted surface, plastic, glass and rim face. The 7-year tier adds a ceramic primer and two layers on the paint. XPEL film is fitted panel by panel with the edges finished by hand. Both are done in the bay, with the lights on, one car at a time.

  • Ceramic: painted surfaces, plastic, glass and rim faces
  • 7-year: ceramic primer, then two layers on the paint
  • Film: fitted and finished by hand, quoted per vehicle

Why it mattersEdges, seams and coverage are where hurried work shows. Nothing here is rushed to make room for the next car.

Inspection

If it's not right, it doesn't go home.

Raking light across every panel is how you find what ordinary light hides: a missed spot, a lifted edge, an uneven pass. We check the whole car before it leaves the bay, and we fix what we find.

  • Every panel checked under raking light
  • Film edges and coating coverage reviewed
  • Care instructions for your specific coating or film

Why it mattersThis is the step you never see. It is also why you can trust the other three.

After the car leaves

The work doesn't end at pickup.

The 5-year ceramic package includes 5 annual warranty washes and the 7-year includes 7, so we see the car at least once a year while the coating is under warranty. A coating is only as good as the maintenance behind it.

Collection owners and clubs get ongoing care on a schedule that fits how the cars are used.

Next step

Let's look at it together.

No hard sell. Just a conversation about what your car actually needs.
